Did you know we offer free sessions to schools? 🤔

Our mission, at Charlie’s Beach School, is to get as many children to the beach as possible, to experience all it has to offer and have fun reconnecting with nature!

Last Thursday, a gloriously sunny day, we welcomed 46 children from Halberton Primary to Charlie’s Beach School. They started the morning with a tour around the RNLI lifeboat station and then onto a beach clean workshop with ourselves in the afternoon!

The children learnt through a fun activity what does and what doesn’t belong on the beach, prior to heading off with pickers and buckets eager to see what they could find! The storms had washed up fishing line, wood, net, plastic rubbish, drinks cans and material as well as some huge shells 🐚

We all loved looking at what had been found! The children really seemed to enjoy their visit and we did too! We look forward to welcoming you back soon for another workshop 👋
